Our mission is to empower learners by strengthening processing skills for lifelong success.

TLC Processing is an innovative program offered through The Learning Center that strengthens the foundational processing skills critical for learning success. Designed with flexibility to meet diverse needs, it provides tailored support for schools and individuals. Whether implemented in classrooms or at home, TLC Processing empowers learners to unlock their full potential.

Bonnie Nicks, CCC-MS, SLDS, IMC
TLC Processing Owner

Bonnie Nicks is the owner of TLC Processing and founder of The Learning Center, the parent organization for TLC Processing.

Bonnie has centered her life on helping struggling learners. During her 30-year career in public school systems, Bonnie observed holes in the education programs centered around students who learn differently. She dedicated her research and her business to these students, hoping to fill those holes through research-based tutoring methods.

Her passion and dedication is evident in the various programs she offers through TLC Processing and The Learning Center, ensuring every child's needs are met.

Christina Ables, MS, SLDS, IMC
TLC Processing Program Director

Christina Ables is the Program Director for TLC Processing. She has over 17 years of experience in the field of education, working with children of varying special needs. Christina is passionate about helping every child overcome learning difficulties.

Christina has a B.A. in Music and a M.S. in Elementary Education from Southern CT State University. She is an IDA certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist, Interactive Metronome certified, and holds state certification in Florida for Elementary Education, Exceptional Student Education, Reading, Music, and ESOL.

Diane Lavin, BS, CALT, SLDS, IMC
TLC Processing Trainer

Diane Lavin is a Certified Academic Language Therapist with extensive training and practicum experience using multisensory structured literacy techniques. She has been in the education field for over 30 years and has spent more than 8 years focused primarily on dyslexia therapy.

She obtained certification through IDA as a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist and IM certification through Interactive Metronome.

Diane combines her extensive experience with learning differences and processing skills training to provide expert services to each of her clients.

Loni McCloud, BA, SLDS, IMC
TLC Processing Trainer

Loni McCloud is a dyslexia specialist and processing trainer with over 4 years of experience in the fields of education and home education.

She has a B.A. in History from Grand Canyon University. She obtained certification through IDA as a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist and IM certification through Interactive Metronome.

Loni has extensive experience in the area of processing training and brings a wealth of knowledge to each client she serves.
